How do you get windows replaced on a bow window? - windows

Should we replace the entire bridge and all? I spoke with a window of 5 different companies who want to take the glass and frame, use the window frame itself, but put into regular windows that slide up and down. Currently, there are two fixed windows and 2 windows to handle. I think it would be ridiculous if they do.
